NSW: Man winched out of dense bushland after trail bike accident
EDS: Correcting that accident occurred yesterday, not today.
An injured trail bike rider has been winched out of dense bush in central New South
Wales after he falling from his bike.
An NRMA CareFlight Helicopter spokesman says the 35-year-old man came off his bike
yesterday on a rough fire trial near Ben Bullen, between Lithgow and Mudgee, sometime
before 1pm (AEDT).
The injured man suffered head, neck, back and arm injuries and was knocked unconscious
for several minutes by the fall.
He was flown to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
